BELAIR NATIONAL PARK SOUTH AUSTRALIA

If you are camping or holidaying  around  Adelaide  area ,
then Belair National Park,  which is only 13km south of  Adelaide,
is an ideal place to visit for the day.
There is a small entrance fee.
Barbecue facilities are found all throughout the park.
There is disabled access, picnic areas, toilets, walking tracks,
and last time we visited there was a very nice kiosk available.
Sealed roads through the parks’ 840ha,
making  good access to most of the park facilities.
In 1891  Belair become South Australia’s  first  National Park.
The park protects one of the few remaining areas of
native bushland in the Adelaide Hills and includes
a range of facilities which visitors can enjoy.
An area called Playford Lake
has a very enjoyable walk of  about 1km
where visitors can enjoy the waterbirds.
The Port Lincoln parrot, although seen in
southern Western Australia can be found here
at the Belair National Park.
The Old Government House  situated within the park and is now a museum.
Discover Australia and have a very enjoyable holiday.
